Shot an 88-19=69 this morning, no bunkers, no OB's, still a couple of duff shots, oh and my 7 iron snapped on the 2nd shot of the 2nd hole! The club head came straight off! Hitting a soft 6 iron for the rest of the round was tricky. Fingers crossed noone else comes in with a better score. Conditions have worsened too! Will keep you posted!

Just found out I came second, winning score was 68:-(

Very well made point. If you come in with a sub-SSS round, are you really bothered if you're not in the prize money? - unless you're ousted by a complete bandit.

£50 gift voucher for the club shop/lessons, so I may take the chance to get a wedge lesson/short game lesson. Cheers guys, I'm well made up, the next two comps are a 3 man Texas scramble and 4 man comp, so hopefully I can assist with some pointage this weekend coming.
