Best prem 11

The amount of teams that dont include Bergkampo utterly amazes me, especially those who include subs as well :o
I was very tempted - stunning player though.

But with Henry , Suarez and Shearer you get the lot - creative and goals.

Having watched them both week in week out give me Bergkamp over Henry every day of the week (albeit Id happily have both!) :)

Suarez in prem team of all time, I know theres a load of Liverpool fans on here but based on what 18 months top?

He completely changed as a player and his main focus was on the team scoring goals not him doing so (albeit he scored some real corkers) Went home and away a lot during his time at Arsenal and he was just head and shoulders above anything else out there at the time with the stuff he did, created so many chances it was unreal

Im not arguing his credentials, and I saw enough if him destroying saints to know how good he was. But like I said as a stiker not enough goals for me. I'd like to think that scholes would be an adequate architect with Ronaldo, shearer, Henry getting the goals.

Well its more like 30 months now (3 and half seasons ) - will be three years in dec and in that period he has 70 goals in just over 100 games - his goal record in that period is unbelievable as well as the creative assists.

What about everyone having a go at trying to pick their own teams best Premiership 11? Will be interesting to see some of those results! As a Chelsea fan I have been thinking about it and the only two decisions I need to make surround the midfield Poyet, Di Matteo or Essien to join Lampard and Makalele; and who to go for up front out of Drogba, Torres, Shevchenko, or Chris Sutton......!!

I wouodnt have Suarez in my team, but, think he's been about long enough to justify it for those that would.

I think he was a great player, scored some brilliant goals and set loads up too. But I'd still have a fair few ahead if him when pickin my team. If I wanted to pick a team for beautiful footy I'd pick him everytime. But as a striker he scored about 1/3. That's not enough for me. Irrespective of all his good work, he'd be in the team to score goals.

+1 Bergkamp, Zola and Cantona were great players and great entertainers, but still short of Ronaldo, Suarez and Henry who are fantastic entertainers as well as great goalscorers.

Pre-Roman we had some excellent players who may well have gone on to win the title with a bit of stability on the managerial front, but Ken Bates had a habit of also firing managers after a few dodgy results!!

Schmeichel

G Neville Adams Terry Cole

Vieira Keane

Ronaldo Bergkamp Giggs

Henry

Seaman, Zabaleta, Campbell, Pires, Cantona, Zola, Shearer

I am missing some great players out like Gerrard, Ferdinand, Overmars, scholes but I still think that team is unstoppable

Torres-whats he done for Chelsea?

A little too early for me.
However if hes stays in the prem who knows.
He has the potential.

You played on a sand pitch pre roman. Lampard admits he had been told he was being sold before roman arrived. I have no problem with the sugar daddies of football, but Chelsea were gonna do a Leeds without the sudden cash injection.
