Hysen was great for 2 seasons! One for the ladies.

Anyway, I thought about Desailly after picking my earlier team, and how could I not pick Kompany:-

Simply for the fact that whilst he was perfect for knitting that young group of players together. He was a striker who didn't score enough goals.

Is that Bryan Robson ? The same Bryan Robson who played 30 games in the prem for Man UTD and another 30 for Middlesborough when around 36 - 39 years old and mainly as a sub ?

I think he was a great player, scored some brilliant goals and set loads up too. But I'd still have a fair few ahead if him when pickin my team. If I wanted to pick a team for beautiful footy I'd pick him everytime. But as a striker he scored about 1/3. That's not enough for me. Irrespective of all his good work, he'd be in the team to score goals.

He completely changed as a player and his main focus was on the team scoring goals not him doing so (albeit he scored some real corkers) Went home and away a lot during his time at Arsenal and he was just head and shoulders above anything else out there at the time with the stuff he did, created so many chances it was unreal

If I'd named subs him & Zola would have been there.
Henry had to be in my team as he's the best player to play in the Prem IMO.
& I always liked Shearer,obviously an excellent goal scoring record but also because he could give as good as he got when battling with defenders.
