hi all just been having a look at the green free website to decide which course to use my voucher on, and wondered if people have the faves on there they'd like to share?

on another note the last time i tried to use a 241 voucher at a club (woldingham) they said that it isn't 2 players for the price of 1, but 2 rounds for the price of 1 so each player gets a free round of 18 (on the day). seemed odd.

whenever i have tried them, it never seems to be that good a deal. everywhere round me insists its not 2-4-1 on a round, but their day rate. so quite often it only works out about £10 cheaper.. OK if i was planning 36 holes i suppose..

Yeah I've noticed few clubs do this. Cheeky gits!

I've seen that a lot as well. And most of the time, assuming you are playing 18, you could have got the same rate as you ended up paying on the 2-4-1 vouchers by going on the teetimes or others of that ilk.

I'd report that back to Greenfree as it clearly states on the voucher, and I have used many of them, "This voucher entitles two golfers to play for the price of one at any participating golf course".

Couldn't be more black & white!

seem to have uncovered a bit of a scandal!

aside from all this, can anyone recommend some good courses on here? preferably south east but doesnt have to be.
