I was going to post this,
In my mind he deliberately hit a moving ball. It certainly wasn't accidental and I am not sure you could claim it was the same stroke.

A plain breach of rule 11.2b. It is very evident that he deliberately reaches forward, and changes the direction of travel of the club in order to deflect an already moving ball.
Short of swatting the ball with a tennis racket, I doubt you could have a more obvious breach of the rule.
