Belfry - The Aftermath!

Cracking company with Richard and James Robinson who is a great golfer who didnt get his just deserts today.

You're too kind Herbie, cheers.
Sorry I had to run off, I'll get you a drink in next time.

I can confirm Herbie's near eagle on the 10th - cracking driver fading into the green. I repaired the pitchmark about 5 ft from the pin. Then he rolled his birdie putt to a couple of inches. Well played Sir!

Richard played really well - steady as a rock (unlike me). he isn't a forummer, but I recommended he have a look in.

Cheers to all the GM boys for the organisation and goodie bag.

Hope all those who stayed had a good time hopefully see you next time!

Hello James, no worries mate, you deserved the comments, but I have to correct you a little.......I rolled my EAGLE putt to a couple of inches ... :D :D

It wasn't short, just missed on the lef side I think. Looked like it would be short at first though :p

Great drive though none the less.
That green is about 20 feet wide at its narrowest part. :(

I was chuffed for a lot of reasons Bob, not least the fact that my driving was either great or crap during the round, Irons were good, putting was nearly always good, but the driver, 3 wood and hybrids were one or the other. :(

Alas, it's the day after and the office seems a poor substitute for what was a fantastic two days of golf.

Adding my two-peneth to all others, thanks to Mike and the team for organising a great event, the weather was outstanding as was some of the golf (little of it mine).

Thanks to to my playing partners on both days, you were all great company and a big well done to Terry B, whose hole in one was the first I've ever seen.

Here's to next year's event - Pinehurst :D

Herbie,

I'm disappointed in you mate :)Sounds like you all had a great time :D :D :p

Golfmmad.

Sorry but you are right, I was so excited about the event that I left my camera on the kitchen top before I set off, I feel daft enough already as I saw some great pic oportunities as I went round...doh! :D

Absolutely fantastic 2 days guys, thanks a million. :D

Great company on both days. :)

I'm amazed I look quite good on the photos as I was sporting something of a sore head (thanks Mike!! :D)

Might have to try the hangover approach more often as I ripped it straight down the middle.

hi guys, thanks again to GM TEAM for organising the great event.Enjoy company of all who attended, hope mike finally got over his birthday drink.herbie and james were better players, but luck, company and scapping help me,cheers guys.

I think that being as steady as a rock helped you Richard more than having to be a good scrambler.
Well played!
