Try places like gumtree, ebay, local pro shop. Ideally try and get newer, a simple search on Google with make and model will tell a release date. That where I've been getting my bits to update bag after time away.

Depending how much of a beginner I would say just get out there and play some rounds before you add in a driver.the extra distance is nice but comes with (usually) extra trouble.
Failing that I got my first from ebay, as part of a full set which cost me £50, consider the number of chips and sky marks i added I am glad it was a cheap second hand one.
Golfbidder would be my starting point. Not the cheapest but honest reviews of each club and a 7 day return policy. Affordable Golf is also a s decent second hand site to look at
