Should be interesting, especially as it could be news about a longer lasting, faster charging and cheaper battery technology.

It was always about Tesla only, essentually a shareholders meeting. He holds similar events on all his projects, so not sure what some were expecting.

If they can achieve full vertical integration before others even have a foothold in the EV market they will continue to fly. Fingers crossed ??

I admit I am a big fan of the electric car so I fail to see how they are ruining the motor car.
They've just replaced a highly inefficient internal combustion engine (ICE) with a more efficient electric motor.

When the motor car was first mass produced over 100 years ago, it replaced the horse and yet we still have horses today.

ICE cars will not suddenly disappear, they will just become a thing of leisure, something to play with at the weekend.

But I also agree, electric cars have a way to go. They need to come down in price, increase range and charge faster and that is all happening.
(just not fast enough for some).

Musk's a difficult man to warm to. Real innovator though.

Didn't hear about any big announcement from him, was more excited yesterday reading about a NASA moon landing in 2024, first woman on the moon, staying up there 6 days. Seeing it all clear and in colour on digital tv would be great, will have been 50+ years gap since last trip. That seemed to come out of the blue, not long to wait either.
