Played this course yesterday, and whilst i was looking forward to it i think i built myself up for something it was not, A warm sunny day greeted me as i arrived 30 mins before my tee time after warming up i headed to the 1st alone then 2 fella's asked if they could join on with me no probs. Still a bit wet in places which was expected and some nice dog legs and short par 3's but it did not stand out for me, fairways were not too tight plenty of landing areas and not too long a course i just feel i expected more from a course which has 2 Ryder Cup captains as former members. After the round although i enjoyed it i do not expect to be back unless in an Open Comp. Now i only have 1 course left in West Lothian to play West Lothian GC.

West Lothian aint blessed with class courses but Bathgate is probably the best of the bunch, maybe Linthgow could run it close.

I wasn't a fan of linlithgow, expected better considering the affluent area.

Linlithgow is far to hilly for my liking. West lothian is ok. TBH there aren't many good courses in that area. Winchburgh Old course is good, i don't like the new side. Uphall is a bit of a joke, until you cross the road. Bathgate is ok. Never played deer park.

Agree with the old winchburgh course, Deer Park is a championship course, not too bad and deals usually during the week of £18 a round.
