Do what Faldo did to Monty before the ryder cup, send your partner two dozen of your golf balls, to give him time to get used to playing with them.

Whoever has the first tee shot chooses. Have you worked that out your order yet ? At my course I tend to play odds, as I have less holes I need driver on, three maximum. My partners always drive better than me, and there are usually six holes they can hit driver on playing evens.

When I play foursomes I prefer using my partners ball, as I hate losing my own ball.

I don't really care what ball I play - so I always let my partner choose. If it's something I recognise then I'll be OK with it - unless it's a stone. With foursomes and me - it's the format that is the main challenge and not the ball I'm hitting. 4somes is my fave format - proper golf.

Believe me hes not sensitive. He just reckons he would be banned more than he could post .
Well had an hour or so after work and i dont mind the putting with the tour preffered where as he hates the soft ball to putt so Tour preferred it is. We have a month before the game so il post nearer the date on who you think should tee off first :thup:
