One of the holes at my place has a large section of GUR, in the middle of this is a drainage ditch with a pump in the middle. This is in range off the tee and to be fair you would not always be 100% sure the ball is in the water.
This is not marked as a hazard and a large area around the hole / ditch is marked GUR so the questions is;
If you hit your ball into the area of the ditch and are unable to find it what do you do? do you have to declare lost or can you play as if you ball is in the ditch then take relief from the GUR as per nearest point of relief i.e. free drop.
