Ball in a buggy?

More a joke question really but I'm interested in the answer.

What's the ruling if your ball lands in a passing buggy and they drive off into the distance without realising what's happened? Is it deemed lost?
And what if they drive up the fairway and the ball falls off near the green, is it classed as rub of the green?

See Rule 19-1a. You drop your ball as near as possible to where the ball came to rest on the buggy (i.e. at rest relative to the buggy even though it is moving relative to the ground) with no penalty. If the original ball is irretrievable, you can substitute another.

No grabbing a lucky if the guys in the buggy chuck it out on the green any more than having to accept an unlucky if they chuck it in a lake. :)
