Bag simplification

so during the season i have had issues at the top of my bag,therefore i have decided to simplify it.
Driver,4 wood,21 hybrid then 5 iron,that way i wont have any options just one club to hit. before i was thinking do i hit 3w or 5w or 19 hybrid.i dont get any more distance out of a 19 hybrid than a 21 hybrid anyway.
my 5 i is 23 deg so more like a 4i anyway.
anyone else done similar?

Yup. I have dropped my driver and hybrid and have a 16 degree 3? (4) wood and a three iron. Driver was usually costing me loads of shots as I have scaled back the amount of golf I have been playing

Full bag for me all the time. The way I see it I am capable of hitting them all perfectly well and I would rather have the right club for the job and trust my swing to see me right. Nothing wrong with a half set for a cheeky late evening nine in the summer but for winter golf I want all the sticks, plus waterproofs, hat etc.
