Just changed the Irons for the last time Fred.
I only got 5-SW with the set and iv put up a few posts on the issue.....Let me know what you think

Seeing a pic of Daves new line up in his bag got me thinking. Am I the only one who has to have their clubs in a particular order in the bag. Especially when using a 14 club divider bag? Or are you a chuck it in the bag in a carefree and laisee faire attitude?

For me it has to be, from the top.

The logic is woods down the outside right, leaving easy access and viewing of the irons. The irons go even numbers centre left, odd numbers centre right. Wedges on the left hand side for easy access as they get used more than any of the other irons. I don't see the point in having all the woods across the top as it makes getting to the irons difficult, and likewise with having all the wedges along the bottom. The irons just get in the way!

And yes. I am a pain to live with!

Putter.
52 wedge, 7 wood, Driver.
56 wedge, 6 iron, 5 iron, 3 wood.
60, 8 iron, 7 iron, 5 wood.
PW, 9 iron.

I wondered this too when I got my latest bag.
14 dividers, and an umbrella holder and outside putter well.

I don't know if it's the real reason for it, but the first time I played in the rain and put the hood on my bag I was glad of the free space in the dry for my putter
