Seeing a pic of Daves new line up in his bag got me thinking. Am I the only one who has to have their clubs in a particular order in the bag. Especially when using a 14 club divider bag? Or are you a chuck it in the bag in a carefree and laisee faire attitude?

For me it has to be, from the top.

The logic is woods down the outside right, leaving easy access and viewing of the irons. The irons go even numbers centre left, odd numbers centre right. Wedges on the left hand side for easy access as they get used more than any of the other irons. I don't see the point in having all the woods across the top as it makes getting to the irons difficult, and likewise with having all the wedges along the bottom. The irons just get in the way!

And yes. I am a pain to live with!

Putter.
52 wedge, 7 wood, Driver.
56 wedge, 6 iron, 5 iron, 3 wood.
60, 8 iron, 7 iron, 5 wood.
PW, 9 iron.

I have a 7 divider bag, with the following set-up

driver, 3 wood
hybrid
hybrid
4,5,6 (must go back in number order)
7,8,9 (must go back in number order)
PW, Lob
Putter

Putter normally lives outside the bag.

By the end of the game, they could be anywhere.

6 Way divider as you look at clubs from trolley:

Driver - top left
5 Wood, 3 and 4 irons in top right
5,6 and 7 irons in middle left
8,9 irons and PW in middle right
52,56 and 60 in bottom left
Putter in bottom right

Oh yeah. They are in an order, I picked that up. Which is why I'd thought I'd ask the question.

Driver and 3 wood at the back
5i,hybrid, 5 wood across the middle (far right empty as putter has its own bay outside.
6,7,8 and 9 across the next layer
PW,50,54,58 across the front.

If something's not in the right place its got to be put there quick!!

how can you say that!!!! 14 way all day long each with it's own slot, although I have gaps cos I only have 12 clubs.

I have a 14, a 6 and a 3-way divider. (three bags; one cart, one trolley, one for a half set knock-about). I prefer the 14 way divider....I hate it when clubs fight to get in the damn bag!!!!!

I have mine organised, I hate if anyone looks at my clubs then misplaces it.

Bag has a 7 way divider, I have my 4 wedges in the bottom slot, 7,8,9, in the next up, 4,5,6 in the next, putter well at the top and the left hand side has 3 slots for hybrid, 3 wood and driver!

Me too, 5 sections + putter. Clubs have to be in the right section - LW & SW, GW,PW & 9i, 8 & 7, 6 & 5, hybrids & woods

clubs have to be organised, though it's still evolving and I might try hapless' set up.

I too can't see the point of a putter well as it's too shallow to hold the putter safely. wish it would as it's the putter cover that blocks access.

I'd even prefer more compartments in the carry bag than the six I have, but that would add weight.

Do you remember those little puzzles where you have 24 pieces in a 25 piece "box" and have to move them one by one to make the picture? It's like that, put the putter outside the bag and mess it up never to be fixed!

I got a 14 way divider wilson bag for christmas and already i want to change it......The dividers are not full length maybe 3/4's but the shafts of the clubs seem to get stuck together at the end of the bag and it can be very annoying when you pull one and 3 try to come for the ride also.......

That said i have 3,5 WOOD on the left slots then my 3H and i start my long irons from the bottom of the bag working my way to the top(front as it sits on the trolley) But im always fiddling with a sequence that i try to be happy with.(never works though)
