I was playing in a comp last Saturday, and one of the golfers behind me, was a ex pro. He is about 6'6,and built like a brick outhouse. Joined the club with a +2, but has let it slip to 1 We were on the third, playing off the forward winter tee, but still over 300 yards. Just as were putting out his drive lands on the fringe and rolls about a couple of yards onto the green.

At the half way hut we made sure we took our time over the bacon rolls, so we could let him through. Definitely a golfer you want in front of you and not behind.

Must admit i do feel lucky, and never bore of playing it.

If you ever pilgrimage South and fancy a game you are more than welcome. We are also within ten miles of Hankley Common, Liphook and Hindhead, which are all within the top 100 courses on England. Hankley in particular is stunning,especially if you like heather. Rich
