Just been listening to Spurs fans on radio & they are all complaining about the formation and attacking options.
Having just seen the performance myself I would suggest the problems are at the other end of the pitch.

I have a spurs supporter mate and I text him after Man City went 2 nil up. I said it could be embarrassing today as Spurs looked really poor. He couldn't believe AVB is picking players like Holtby and Kaboul when Townsend, Dembele and Dafoe are on the bench.

Defoe? I hope England don't take him to the World Cup I really think he is past his best. For me Spurs don't have an out and out strike force, they score from midfield. The defence is no worse than any other premiership defence, some ludicrous rubbish was paid this weekend at the back! If the English had a defence that knew how to shut up shop then a performance at the World Cup would be a possibility. However having flighing backs who run fast, get out of position and can't tackle is all the rage.
I also think this new Man City manager is a bit of class, he now has found his feet, sets his team up and seriously with the abundance of attacking riches they are going to score...
