NOt to be outdone by those TM blokes...

What's your setting? Is it the same as the fitting?

I was fitted for B2 - standard loft (9.5) and .75 degrees closed from standard so now .25 closed.
I decided I was flying it a little low so I've moved the loft up by .75 degrees to 10.25 setting C3 and I'm much happier with the flight. Drove well today - bar 1 snap-hook.

What's yours?

i never got custom fitted for my 910 but i did for my hybrid and 3 wood

driver i have on C1 which is less loft and most open. my 3 wood is A1 and my hybrid is D1 which is less loft and neutral but i got fitted for B3 because i couldn't get the launch angles right because i hit down on it which i'm trying to improve but am struggling to do it!

A1 for me. Not had time to play around with the different settings yet.

That said, not sure i want to start tinkering as working great just now and as soon as ido it once "what if it was set to x/y/z" will be in my mind!!

A1 for me, I was fitted at the belfry but did not play with any of the settings, just tried different shafts.Settled for 9.5 with the Aldila RIP reg.Hitting it much better then my old driver....

Sadly I won't be joining the fast swing speed Rip shaft 910 club.

Tried one today, didn't help that I was wearing a pair of wellington boots, could not hit it for toffee.

Best swing I got on it was 224 carry no idea about any of the other info except clubhead speed was 99, and spin rate was 5400rm. Also went really high.

Could be that I'm just not as good as a lot of the big hitters on here getting 300 yards of carry but playing off 20 :D

The RIP is a nasty shaft for me

But the RIP is suitable for a certain type of player, and the Ka'ali, for example, for a very different one, and the Project X for another type again. I hated the RIP too. too light and dull feeling. I pulled it left a lot.

Go back and try some other shafts. If you can't find a shaft/head set up that suits you, give up golf!

Or try Ping. Same thing, basically.

Got fitted for A1 and still have it set in that.

I have tried it in D1 with the loft down to 9.75 but i ended up hitting everything left includng some nasty hooks so i went back to A1. Have'nt got round to trying it with the face open/closed yet.

Has everyone still got the standard Titleist Golf Pride grip that came with it? As i'm not too keen on it as it feels a little bit cheap to me and might get it regripped.

Boring A1 set up although I did play with the loft option last saturday and dropped it down there was a marked difference in the flight but I am going to see my new pro again in a couple of weeks and he has a trackman so will play about with it to see what the difference's are

Tried mine today for first time and started out at the range with A1 my terrible slice with the driver was a lot less than my old on bu I think that is with having the correct shaft. Changed it to B2 and the slice was gone. I couldn't be happier. The missus did well with my main birthday present.

Was fitted for A4.

I've played around a bit but it just messed with my head.
The more closed I set it the less draw I get on the ball and the more open the club looks. Obviously my eyes (or setup and grip) are broke.

I guess you're joking ;) but from my description you'd wonder if I was holding the right end!!

Set it back to (allegedly) open tonight and will see how it goes tomorrow. It still looks like it's pointing left to me though. Also going to try weakening my grip a bit.

Might have to get someone to stand behind me and tell me where they think it's aiming.

Something tells me I have to get it right before Woodhall next month :o

You are not alone!! Had a play about at the range today and when I had it set open it looked closed Decided that A1 (or whatever the standard setting is) works best for me but I might be tempted to drop the loft down depending on conditions.

Not messed about with mine since I got it, left it as per the fitting, I also won't be altering it for another six weeks.
