Attention PING fans: NEW putters

what you need to do is get one road tested by a high handicapper who is dubious as to how much better an expensive putter can be.
and funnily enough............i know the very man!

I have to agree with you Homer, its very alike the TM spider and imo just as hideous!

I've been a Ping putter fan since the 80s. I've always used Anser, or anser copies ( even now I'm struggling with a cheap copy, just coz it looks right as you stand over it )

I love the new Anser design.

The Jas putters look increadibly stable and simple to use.

But the Wack-E ? The designer must have been on the wacky baccy if you ask me.

BTW I've never put my name down before for testing any product, but these could definately change my mind, if ever it's possible.

Can anyone remind me how we get to put our name on the list, please.

Ta

I've always been a Ping putter fan too. Changed my old Anser 2 (still in the garage but too light to use) about 2 years ago for a Craz-E putter which I really like - namely because of the weight. Am currently looking at swapping it for one of the iWi B60 or anser designs.

I much prefer the classic looks to these new designs.

I still use my 1980s Ping Anser 3 need an update, These look good, I am all for new design, and anything that will keep the face going through straight, need a tester?
Are they guaranteed to hole everything from 10 ft?

I have a very old, battered, Ping Anser. I do not think I will ever find a putter to replace it. The new one looks nice but does it ping?

Parmo, you need to track down an original Berylium copper B60. That was a beauty. My Dad has one (among many other putters), and it is the only thing I would even think of swapping my Scotty for. The modern ones are no where near the original.

I quiet like the look of the Wack-E, depending the price and how well I can play with it this could be joining the bag.

Found one... :) Do look nice don't they.

Not the greatest looking ,they've moved so far away from there roots its unrecognisable at times. Can't beat a Scotty or an S Blade Emperor.
