Asian Amateur Championship prize competition...

Entries now closed for this, and a long way to go of course, but thought you might like to know that if it comes down to the tie-breaker a couple of hours into play, the man with the second longest name in the field (the longest if you include spaces!) is in the lead at 3-under through nine - Kenneth Christian John de Silva

I believe your wife is a winner. So well done her. Will have to be confirmed by the panel of a adjudication first of course. :D

The panel of adjudication is just coming back to life after 14 hours on board a plane with minimal broken sleep!

Will sort out all three winners when I'm back in the office tomorrow, but 270 was indeed the winning score...

Its a hard life... swap ya!

Okay - finally got round to the results and as TonyN has said, oakey22's wife should definitely be picking the Lottery numbers in that household every week as she not only got the score of 270 spot on, but also the tiebreaker of 15 characters in the winner's name.

Just as well too, as big_russ had also gone for 270, but only 11 letters in the name. He wins the 2nd prize though while chris661 secured 3rd spot with his guess of 271 and 12 letters.

Well done, all - will be emailing the first two in turn to choose their prizes starting with chris661 getting whatever they don't plump for.

Thanks for taking part...
