i watch this man pay for club & country & all i see is one touch pass to the player closest to him,, the ball is like the black death to him if he gets the ball he passes it without trying to take the game forward

I'm no expert but i would want every play in my team to want to take part in creative play not get rid like a brick wall the ball bouncing of me

if you notice from now on ,,,even is team mates don't pass to him because he never does anything with the ball

i now is game isn't to score gaols but come on play the ball forward for once

I'm probably just jealous of the wages ,,,Ive got to plaster a room for a couple of hundred quid

You want being careful talking like that. In the current climate à la luis Suarez, John Terry, That could be construed as racialist :smirk:

As a side note. Him bombing forward from the back making overlapping runs and getting balls into the box and chasing back when posession breaks down doesn't count then  The guy has one of the best engines in world football.

I can think of many names for Ashley cole, and brick wall is not near the top of my list.

But, he is one of the best left backs around.

Good attacking left back. Solid defensively aswell and been at world class level since 2002. I swear some people expect defenders to have the ability of Messi....

Probably still one of (if not the) best left back in the world. He's only sitting back & keeping it simple because he's been told to after the recent disasters caused by AVB's 'new style'.

OK, he's a total knob but if you excluded players on that basis Chelsea would have a squad of about 5!
(& I'm a Chelsea fan ....)
