Have been noticing recently that during, and after every round I play my knuckles (especially on my left hand) are really painful and the pain usually lasts for about 3 or 4 days afterwards before subsiding.
Sort of tingly pain.
Could this be the start of arthritis?

I get sore knuckles particularly on the left forefinger but only normally after practicing quite a bit.

I put it down to RSI not arthritis, its fine again after a few hours. If you're worried go to the GP , they can check for arthritis with a blood test.

I am only 29 but have suffered with very stiff and painfull fingers and thumbs especially in cold weather. I started using some hand grips and they have worked wonders. No more pains in my thumbs after golf and nor more pain in general during cold weather. Less than £5 for a pair so I keep one at work on my desk and use it for a few minutes at a time.

No its not the dreaded Arthritis, if you have it you will find that they are stiff in the mornings to a point were you cant even make a fist for a couple of hours.

as mentioned above sounds like RSI or bad grips

My wife has had arthritis for nearly 30 years. A simple way to check is to apply an ice pack, if it makes things more painful, it could well be arthritis.

Try glucosamine, preferably with condroitin. Nearly all the lifters I know who have painful joints use it with great effect but you have to use it for 4-6 weeks before you see the benefits.

I'll PM you the cheapest place to buy glucosamine so I don't break any rules on here.

According to the surgeon who replaced my arthritic hip, this remedy has only been shown to aleviate the problem in horses and no trials have proven that it helps with humans. I asked if he had my condition would he take it and the reply was "no, I wouldn't bother"
