are green fee's a joke

Really? I pay out £850 fees, if my mates want to play I have no problem signing them in at half the price but I'm not paying for them too! I pay for my step dad as he and my mum obv help out with babysitting etc but that's it I'm afraid.

Unless we had an agreement for it work both ways when I visit their course I would just expect them to pay for themselves when visiting my course.

I can't remeber his name but was off 10, a nice guy, said he played in the Volvo ( now Nike) every year and had got though to the main finals in spain a couple of times.

The highlight for me was hiting driver and wedge on a par 5 that was down hill. it landed on the path and ran up to the bottom of a raised green. Then drove though the 10 i think short par 4 (which must have been the old 1st)

quite enjoyed it really as its a course i wouldn't have played otherwise.

thats a pretty decent dig at 10, plays about 340, par 5 would've been 9.

I need to get myself up your way. Keep hearing great things about Nairn and Nairn Dunbar. Furthest I've got along that way is playing Moray Old and New. Never played Elgin either. Played most of the other courses in the Banffshire region. Absolutely love Buckpool. Best course in that area.

Well don't get your hopes at Nairn, greens are still poor but all the warm weather we are having will soon sort that.

I love Moray old. Elgin is nice most par 4's are over 400 yards though, well worth a game.

Hopeman is good, but like your course was once a 9 hole so theres a couple of weird parkland holes on it.

your more than Welcome to a game at Nairn and Dunbar is always good though gets busy at times

Good idea, most of my playing mates are members here apart from one. The rest aren't members anywhere and prob only play a few rounds a year.
