... playing the fidra, really looking forward to it. Have many on here played it? If so what are your thoughts and what condition can we expect it to be in at this point in the year?

I’ve only played the direlton, which I enjoyed but I believe fidra is the better regarded if the two. I’d expect it to be reasonable condition considering the time of year. Hope the weather stays mild into the weekend which would help!

I played the Fidra about this time last year and it was a bit soft underfoot, but I can't for the life of me remember if we used fairway mats or not. The clubhouse and facilities are superb, yet I was a bit disappointed by the course itself but then I had great expectations from all the hype. No matter what, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.
