Any folk on here using arch supports in their shoes and have they improved your aches and pains at all ?

About to try some with my current golf shoes to see if they improve my tired feet / legs

Incidently i still carry all my gear and want to continue !

Hi
I use arch supports but they were prescribed by a podiatist, I did try off the shelf supports but they didn't help anything.

Depending on what your problem is it may be worth getting your GP to refer to you for an orthotics assessment and if they prescribe arch supports 1 pair are provided free and you then get an annual review to check all is well.

I have found my arch supports a god send, my knees don't hurt anymore and almost instantly I found I was hitting the ball better.

When trying arch supports make sure your golf shoes have a neutral cushion insert and don't already have a slight arch support in them, also you may need to go up 1/2 a shoe size for comfort.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.
