Anyone play Titleist AP1 irons ?

I'm tentatively looking for some new irons and had a short list of Mizuno, Callaway and maybe Srixon (purely because I love the woods). Had discounted Titleist as I thought I wasn't good enough to use them, but borrowed some for a dozen balls or so on the range today and they felt superb. I can't find any demo days for Titleist, does anyone have an opinion of the AP1's for a mid Hp'er ? Waiting for my handicap, probably be 16 - 18) Anything else to consider, have ruled out TM and Ping

try the GM club reviews to see what they say , usually quite good, but the AP1 are directed to the mid handicapper, you said you were trying a club at the range? thats the best thing to do

Here is the link to the titleist website. I know a few guys that have these including a 23 handicapper and they all say they are good clubs. I guess just try as many as you can before deciding

Titleist best clubs by far imo cant go far wrong i have pretty much all titleist clubs and bag ect and there ace, so yeah go with the ap1's

i have them and play, at the moment, off 22. however i will be quickly dropping seeing as i was 8 below my handicap today
