Anyone lend me a Fifer ?

Aberdour and Burntisland are amongst some quality parkland hidden gems. Another shout for Drumoig, agree it's a slog but buggies are available.

Downfield is decent but it has one of the worst par 4's i've ever played (16th I think, dog leg right).

Both courses at the Fairmont in St Andrews Bay are nice but likely to be pricey, likewise the Dukes in St Andrews but all worth considering.

Elie is a nice quirky links, not everyones cup of tea but it's an old mature course with a nice clubhouse and set up and not to mention the persicope on the first tee.

Flippin eck, he said Fife, not half of Scotland.
Because everyone was being nice, and making suggestions, I didn't like to say anything...
And in any case, have played quite a lot top side of the Tay. Lundin, Leven, Elie sound up my street - and I'll look at Ladybank, Drumoig and Aberdour. I may even let my three mates have a say...

Woo hoo. Summer's on its way. Just got our cottage booked for a week's stay in Anstruther, Fife. A week solid golf. Any suggestions as to where to play?

Can't do the Old Course because of the Open and can't afford Kingsbarns. Have done the main courses at St Andrew's links, Scotscraig and Crail, but most else is up for grabs.

Can't wait - it's only 5 months....

Links With History .Com Crail Scotscraig Lundin Ladybank.
