Are these guys complete clowns?

I don't have an opinion myself yet, but what I am reading from reviews online does not bode well.

I had a parcel due for delivery at my workplace yesterday, unfortunately it came at 6pm, and as that's outside of working hours, no-one was at goods in to receive the parcel.

Although it seems that common sense would suggest that it is best to make a delivery to a business address during business hours, I suppose it is fair enough that these things happen. However from looking online it seems like collection and redelivery will be a complete nightmare.

Does anyone else have any experience with these guys?
The item I ordered was supposed to be a present for the Mrs, so if I'm not going to get it on Monday, or I'm going to have a nightmare, I will just cancel the order and hit the high street this weekend.

They left a £120 golf bag of mine lying at my back door for over 7 hours, they claimed it was a "safe place" and their driver was entitled to leave it there when I put in a complaint!

If the driver did not have a POD (proof of delivery) they would have had to replace the bag if you said it wasn't received.

They left 2 pairs of designer jeans on my doorstep, jeans that got nicked by some slovakian or something so my neighbour said.

The courier said they were left in a "secured porch", I dont have a porch, got them to google street-view my house to verify and about 6 weeks later I got a refund.

Took 6 days to get a next day guaranteed delivery AND I had to drive round to find the driver to get it otherwise it would have been longer.
Totally amateurish!!

I think I might be joining the the majority who have bad things to say.

On Saturday I emailed them, saying that the delivery was to a business address and that all I ask is that they deliver during normal business hours (i.e. before 5:30). I got a response within the hour, saying they would request this, so I was pretty impressed.

Just checked the tracking number today, expected delivery slot 5:30-6:30. Brilliant!

I will see if the item turns up, but if not I shall be contacting the supplier and cancelling the order, due to the terrible company they choose to deliver their products.

I don't expect perfection, but is it hard to get a relatively small package from Southampton to Winchester (10 miles), within a 9.5 hour timeslot (8-5:30) on 1 out of 2 attempts?
