Are you going to play the Wynn course while you are in Vegas?

Just got back from a 3 nights in Vegas at the end of a 2 week USA trip and played Shadow Creek in Vegas. That is an amazing course. From what I have heard the Wynn is the same.

It's very unlikely that I play the wynn whilst I'm there. I don't think they do discounts for people staying at the hotel and the cost per round is $500, which is huge obviously, especially for a 21 year old student. :D

I guess the green fee for Shadow Creek is about the same? I'd obviously love to play out there, but other things always seem to get in the way when I'm in Vegas

Never say never though! If I have a good time on the tables...

Edit - here is the 18th green at the wynn

Already done our 'big' holiday which was Side in Turkey at Easter fortnight, scorching weather and great vfm. Will be Aberdeen (incorporating the Boat of Garten Open) in July/August.

You enjoyed Side? I hated it when I went there and was stuck in the hole for 2 weeks.

GB72, I'd definitely go to Vegas if you can, it's a different world. I'm going for the second year in a row on the 13th and we're staying at the Wynn for two weeks
You're a youngster, not much for your age group I think, but perfect for families. The standard of accomodation that you get for the money, compared with Spain is unbelievable, and the resort was incredibly clean, although I think that is due to the preponderance of Germans over English who simply demand better service.

Yeah me and my girlfriend were quite bored out there, done a little bit of watersports, but the time just dragged really. Also I didn't get along with the Turks very well, had more than a couple arguments out there, the worst being with a jewelery shop owner

Have you been egypt? I preferred Sharm over Side like 100 times over, and when you think about value for money, the spending money needed out in Egypt is a lot less than it was for Turkey (although it was a few years ago now)

Oh yeah, I also lost my camera in Side, near the end with lots of holiday photos and the police out there were very unhelpful when all I needed was a confirmation that I'd logged it missing for the insurance company. Didn't help!

Wynn is meant to be nothing more than an average Vegas course, you have to rtemember it is right in the middle of the strip, and is basically on a block where they shoulkd have a big car park.

If you're golfing in Vegas try this

Totally agree with you there, although I think that is generic to Turkey as a whole. Way to much hassle passing every restaurant, and every shop.

My worst was at the Golden Fizz bar (if you know it?), major ruck with the owner there over being ripped off. Long story, but he didn't get paid!
