Anyone getting to play today??

No golf again for me, course has been closed most of the week, forecast isn't looking great for next week either, now I remember why I have gone to Portugal in January for the last couple of years, sadly not going this year.

Full 18 open on full greens - a bit cold and frosty but a lovely day

Yea got 9 in for our winter league, course looked well but a bit damp underfoot. greens putted well. Only downer was losing my ball down the left of the last from nowhere.
We were right on the edge of the bad weather passing over but tshirt and sleeveless gillet weather this morning. Ended up a lovely morning with the sun shining.

Course closed went to range instead.
Then maybe tonight going to practice putting with my mirror and v easy

More practice today then last year

Very annoyed. Checked the website at 7.00 when I was about to set off. Said Saturday - course closed. Logged in about an hour later to check some dates and lo, open, if on temps. I could have got out in the roll up if they'd been accurate with their information. Off to the range to take my frustration out on some innocent white spheres and try my new tripod that arrived today. Silver lining and all that

Have you bought one of those selfie sticks with a stand Homer?

18 of us in this mornings spin up, greens frozen which led to all sorts of hilarity on any approach shot but good to be out, scabbed it around for 35 points, 38 won it.

Gave up after about 80 balls on the range last night, couldn't hold the club anymore my hands were that cold.

Full round today with HID and his friend. Rain when we set off and it wasn't the warmest day but the sun did come out.

Full course open and busy so pace was slow.

Rained for 4 or 5 holes on the back 9.

39 points to win the comp, so happy got out of bed for it now.

Full comp was on today. Greens a little hard in places but pretty good really. The wind was bitter though. Did warm up lovely for the tail end of my round.

Course looks in fantastic condition, sure this is January? :)

Course open and the BBC weather is saying it the sun should be poking its face out now bit instead it's raining.

I'll head off for a round soon but feel I'll regret it as I've a heavy cold/cough.

Should have stayed at home.
Feeling weak and hence was at least a club short, had a bout of the shanks (not seen them for ages), 8 blobs, lost a ball that I've completed 7 or 8 rounds with, 22 points.......

Winter League tomorrow and the forecast is for heavy rain all morning.

Yeah Leven and all the courses round Fife were shut today.

Was along earlier for a bite to eat and I'm not confident it will have shifted by tomorrow either. Was set to play a winter league match at Ladybank tomorrow but they made the wise decision to push that out by a week on Friday.

Gorgeous sunny day for golf in East Lothian, not even that windy. 2nd place in the winter four balls netted my partner and I the princely sum of £6.70 - woohoo.

Great to be out though.

courses fully open, couple of the greens were firmer than usual but mostly pretty good.....

unlike my driving, and my score (25 points) what a difference a week makes :o

still no shanks though so not all bad
