Hadnt got as far as considering venue.

Slightly awkward because of timescales involved and the nights drawing in a bit so would be looking at the Kent/sussex border I suppose.

Meant to be very, very nice so I hear. A mate played a society day there recently and reckons it was of a really high standard, he is a pro so he should know.

What's Nizel's G&CC like ?

Nizels is a really nice track, although there are some quite tough holes on it which really need to be played a few times to get the hang of.
I had my worst round of the year there earlier in the season......

Lamberhurst is a really nice course. Have played it loads of times. More of an old fashioned "members club" than Nizels, and out of the two I would prefer it. I think it has better turf to belt the ball off. Much more springy, whereas Nizels can get a bit "claggy".
But you won't go wrong with either.

I agree I played Lamberhurst a few times and it is always good.

I had one of those "where were you when" moments there, I played there on 9/11 and couldnt believe what I saw on the tv as we finished our round
