Got a big comp there in two weeks on both courses, but the website doesn't give too much information. Any hints, tips and advice?

Thanks a lot!

Played both many times, as it's only two miles away. The Kings is the easier of the two and a bit has a fair bit of water on it.The Earls is longer and tighter. You need to be long off the tee to score well. I enjoy both courses, but The Earls just edges it for me. Enjoy your round.
PS,if you ever want to play Kenilworth ,give me a shout.

Not played it recently but have played both courses in the past and enjoyed it.

It's a parkland course with water coming into play on a few holes but overall there aren't too many problems. Seem to remember the fairways as being quite wide and the greens were in good condition.

Play it every year - got a society knock out there the end of the month. Got to give a member there 9 shots - should be interesting don't know which course yet but they are both decent tracks but can get a bit busy. I agree with Wrighty in that the Earls is more of a test but you will need some nerve for your tee shot over the water to the par 3 on the Kingswhere you are in full view of the leisure centre.

i played the kings and cant really add much other than found quite a lot of walking between tees, plenty of water and undulations and that par 3 completely over water in front of the leisure centre is a brute 190 with about 180 carry from the whites. good luck.

I play the Earls course fairly regular and it has felt damp underfoot for a while now. It's a decent course with plenty of variety, and a couple of nice tree lined holes. Wee bit of walking as it's definitely not flat. You'll be fine on the comp, but come the weekends I've had a couple of 5+ hour rounds. The website doesn't have much detail at all. Let me know if you want me to scan a scorecard

Play there every year too. Can never remember which course is which but both can be quite long and as others have said big walks from green to tee. That hole over the water outside the leisure centre gets me every time! 180 yards of carry if I remember. We play 36 holes in the day so use the buggies.
