Well have not played for a week due to the course being frozen last week( not sure it was though! groundsman) but last night we had a dusting of snow ,so has anybody played in it and whats it like ? i guess its just hit the yellow ball and dont worry where it lands , but practice the tee shots & fairways ?

The real problem is putting. The ball picks up snow as it goes so by the time it reaches the cup it's likely to be bigger than the hole. Give it a good bash.

Other than that, stick with an orange ball and if you are on "pick & place" it's not an issue.

Yeh, Played last Sat when we had a light dusting, Its ok as long as you keep the ball in play, I played with a white prov and had no problems at all, just the putting, as golfsaint says, the ball picks up snow as its rolling,so hit it a bit firmer, Oh and play to the Whites not the Greeens .. LOL....

Course is closed for me, so it's a bit irrelevant. I wouldn't play any way, can't see the point, I'm not that desperate to play.

I'm desparate to play but even if the course was open this morning I wouldn't be there.
Playing on frozen ground is one thing - playing with snow on the ground is another.

Played last year on a course 2 or 3 days after snow - there was still a fair bit lying around. I actually used a white ball and found it easier to spot on the snowy backdrop than my partners yellow ball.....
