Any know good courses in France?

Hi,

we've planned a trip to France for the weekend but our original destination Wimereaux has a comp that weekend so we have to find an alternative. Can anyone recommend any courses within 2 hours drive of Calais.

We're all 23-26 handicappers.

I think Le Touquet is pretty close to Calais (30 mins drive or so), and has a good reputation. They have 3 courses there.

Le Foret at Le Touquet is one of the best courses I have ever played. Absolutely stunning and always in superb condition..... Highly recommended.

There's two courses at Hardelot, both well worth playing. About 10 miles south of Wimereux.

a mate from has just come back from a short golf break from france. not sure of exact detail, but played 3 coarses, the last one being dunkirk. he really liked it but said he would take a buggy next time ,this was the third day. went with his society, got a euro star deal all in, not sure of accomadation details, but included golf, for 160. sounds good.
