another three months off work

tell you wot m8,if your bored you can do all the house work, that'll plz the good lady.

Sod that, as part of me retirement I found an iron under the stairs. Thought In for a penny, anyway 4 hrs later there's a massive 12" pile of ironing.
brownie points for tash. however Missis T didn't quite see it that way. those shiny iron shaped marks that I have all over me Galvin green trousers and some of me tops. Well Missis T has one on her £40 next strides now, which she bought two weeks ago. thought she would be well happy that I learned how to do it first time.
Apparantly there not supposed to be there.
Poacher, have a quiet life and catch up on telly.

Not being flippant -If you ever wanted to learn a language or play a musical instrument now is the time. I had 2 weeks off after op in August, wasn't allowed to drive but didn't get bored, every broken gadget / kids toys / tools got repaired, DIY jobs got done, all paperwork caught up with and filed or shredded, read a couple of books and played a lot of bass guitar, spent more time with the kids and fitted in physio 4 times a day.
Its the way you approach the lay off - waste it or get your head round the situation and use it for something fun and/or productive.
Good luck with the knee, spoke with a few guys in Ortho ward getting knees done, they can work wonders but the physio looks hard going.
