Hot on the heels of the Billy Foster reader question opportunity, the editor himself will be putting your questions to four-time Ladies' European Tour winner, Mel Reid, early next week up in St Andrews.

So as ever, please feel free to fire away...

* Important - please remember to include your real name, home town and county with your question as we will need that to be able to run your question in the mag.

Mel, on the ladies tour the caddies generally line up all shots for the players but on the mens tour the caddies don't. Do you see this as an advantage to working within rules or can you see a time when this will be disallowed by the powers that be.

Mel, as a Derby girl which local courses would you recommend visitors to the area come and play? After all Derbyshire isn't the best known area for top courses.

The lady golfers seem to be much more prevelent on social media sites than those at the top of the mens' game and seem to be far more interactive with their fans. Has that been a deliberate initiative from the tour to promote the game or has it been instigated by the individual golfers? How important do you feel that social media is in the promotion of the womens' game bearing in mind the lack of dedicated coverage in the more main stream media

Do you follow a golf specific fitness training regime? Do you think overall that professional female golfers have similar fitness and practice regimes as those in the men's game or do you work harder?!

Mel, do you feel that female golfers are sometimes judged too much on things other than their golfing ability?

Oh, and after dreaming of me, do you wake up disappointed? :o

Do you find it frustrating that most club golfers try and emulate the male golfers on the European and PGA tours when in fact the swings and timing of the female professionals are more realistic in tems of swing speed and distances.

Do you have any plans to play a full or part time schedule on the LPGA given the cash available on the tour in comparison to the LET?

Which MALE European Tour player do you think you could beat in matchplay and what would the final score be?

Presumably, you and your fellow lady golfers use 'mens' golf balls. When you were growing up, did you ever use womens golf balls and if so do you think they slowed your progression?

Are you thinking of playing the Australian / New Zealand tournaments again and what were your experiences when you played them last ?

Slow play seems to be one of the big irritations on the professional game with the amateur game starting to emulate this trend. What things would you change to speed up the pace of play?
