As I've posted before, I'm very new to ebay and therefore following the rules closely, responding to emails within hours and paying for any goods bought within minutes!
However, I've come across a tactic where someone selling something similar to you buys it from you then doesn't pay or respond to emails, ebay say they are allowed 28 days to pay so the poor seller has to wait all this time, or the person sells their own product and offers another one to the losing bidder who if purchases then buys yours and flogs it on to their second buyer.
Poor practice or smart business person (the one I know about is run as a business)
