£1,620 at mine due in April, a £75 increase on last year. Newly introduced, £1,470 to 80 year olds with minimum of 20 years membership.
Graded discounts for younger members ranging from under 26 at £720 to £1,342 under 36. Juniors etc much cheaper.

Maybe there's a case for means testing the subs, rather than age scaling?

Golf is discretionary, arguably a luxury. It’s definitely not a necessity so I wouldn’t support means tested fees.

Well there is kind of practice facilities but not good ones, I should have just crossed out the word 'good'. And the team matches are mid-week so don't really apply to me.


I actually really dislike the course at Pinner Hill, I've found it a bit of a slog.

Pinner is quite a bit tougher than Grims dyke, your handicap would go up several shots I expect.

Defenitely not a £100 golf course that's for sure.

Was member 2017 (iirc) year of 1st British masters there, could sign a guest on then for £15.

I was shocked when I got signed onto the Colt last year and it was £60. They have put the visitor fee up to £210.

As I said, nice course, great condition but I wouldn't fancy playing it once or twice a week.
