hi
started getting my 3 cards for my handicap signed on saturday , and also got one monday (both 93) and was hoping to get my final one signed today , woke up to torrential rain, got down to the club at 8.30 and no one was there to play with , greens flooded , and the weather forcast the same for the next 2 weeks or so , could have to wait a long time to get the last card in. anyone else get out today ??

Haven't hit a ball or practiced in nearly two weeks. The back is finally becoming less painful and hoping to get out and hit a few by Saturday. Not a great forecast anyway so apart from Sunday which was nice weather I've not felt too much as though I'm missing out. I'm guessing the course will be pretty wet though although unless we get a frost we'll be on proper greens and tees

if it is anything like the weather we have had, Homer, you will hardly get any roll depending on the height of your drives. I hit mine high and ended up being a few inches behind where the ball had landed. But if your quite a flat driver you may get away with it

Have you been back to your club today Ant?

I have got a game booked at your place on Friday i dont think it will be going ahead which is a shame

hi , theyve closed the course today, although i spoke to the pro and he said should be back open thursday, it seems to have been drying out nicely last few hours fo fingers crossed

I played 10 holes tonight, its horrible out, hail shower and the wind is really blowing hard. didnt even bother scoring and played for holes instead. i must have been 10 over at least!

Our first qualifying comp on saturday as well

Decided to pull the plug on our event over Easter and try and ease myself back into it. If I go to the range or chipping area I can just call it a day. At the range I'll be warm (heated bay) and dry and if it rains on the putting ground I'll just head into the clubhouse.

I think most courses will be pretty wet (those that are open) and the forecast doesn't look great.
