Android notification icon help

A strange icon appeared on my HTC One X this morning and it's bugging me!
It doesn't seem to do anything, its not listed anywhere that I can see and when you pull down the notification bar there's nothing there. As far as I'm aware I haven't downloaded anything.
Anyone any ideas..?
It's the one in the top left corner, 2nd from the left. The one right in the corner is Powersave..

Does the HTC have auto updates on ? I know there has been an android update recently - maybe it's downloaded that ?

Do you have the Facebook app on your phone? Kind of looks like the facebook "f"

Looks like song is playing or SD/USB is full notification icon.

Mmm.
I don't think the pic is very good..
The icon is a square, 3 vetical dots on the left, 3 horizontal lines on the right. Top line is longer than the lower 2 and the middle line and dot seem to be highlighted....

Oops I should be wearing my glasses, that icon looked circular to me.

Can you get take a better photograph of it?

Alternatively you can try installing a FREE app that will log notifications. This looks like it may work or hunt around for something that will work.

Had a data manager app for 18 months or so but never seen an icon.
Must have had an update that switched it on.
