Its that time of the year again that leads in the inclement weather and ultimately, Christmas. Turkey competitions start this weekend at our place and run right up until the finale Christmas cheer just before Christmas day.

Anyone else kicked off towards the festive season yet?
Links members need not reply and rub it in :D

It's nearly like High Summer down here. A bit cooler than that really but the Sun was out most of the day today and the fairways are dry and running - CVG reached our 437 yard par 4 16th in 2 today - he doesn't do that very often!
The odd damp day predicted but nothing to write home about - going to be a long Autumn I think..
The "C" word seems a long way off at the moment.

We started turkey comps three weeks ago :( but they have reworked three of the fairways so the comps are non counting anyway.

I've entered the winter knockout wit Hawkeye but that is about as close to thinking about Christmas and winter golf as I've got. I noticed all the winter temps have been marked and cut so it won't be far off but it was lovely and warm in Birminham yesterday and in Berkshire today.

Soggy soft mess on the West coast of Scotland. Even the links courses have water lying on them. Hate this country at times. In fact the weather is down right depressing at present, as it has been all summer, can we call it a summer? Did we have one?
