There are some wonderfully funny tweets going around about Jim Bowen. My favourite so far, RIP Stephen Hawking and Jim Bowen. Good to see they are keeping the tradition of the non darts player going first.
Apparently Bowen was inspired to take up comedy after seeing Ken Dodd. Another old fashioned comic gone. Search the internet today, there are some lovely lines on there from him.

Couldn't beat a bit of bully on a Sunday. RIP Jim. Some of those non-darts players at the end were truly awful as were the prizes but he was the perfect person to host it and never took it or himself too seriously
