Looks like they're reviewing footage of a chip shot played by Blair with a 3 wood as it looked as if it was touching his shirt and was possibly anchored........this could get messy!

Quick chat with the player after the round and officials happy he wasn't anchoring. He wasn't even aware that there had been a potential problem.
Can see this sort of thing happening quite a bit this year.

I must be careful , I use a 25' hybrid for chipping in winter conditions when near the fringe quite often.
I do grip well down the shaft to do so.
I presume to anchor there has to be pressure applied, not just a brushing of ones clothing?

I can't find it at the moment, but there was an article re anchoring in recent copy of GM with questions and answers.
It specifically said that merely touching your shirt or jacket with butt end of club is not deemed as anchoring.

But I guess there will be a few queries in the coming months

If you are wearing full waterproofs good chance club will touch your clothing, but that is not anchoring. No penalty given to Blair, and as one who chips with a hybrid I can't see it being too much of an issue.

A 25ft hybrid. That's one hell of a long club, you'd have to grip well down the shaft. It's no surprise people might think you are anchoring it :)
