An unfamiliar format of the game.

I have noticed a format of golf called "Irish Golf". As an Irishman I am very interested to know what this is and how you play it ......anyone here familiar with it???

Do I play it or take offence to it?

Have you tried 'Goggle-ing' it? Just as a suggestion. Not ever come across it myself.

Wiki'd ,yahoo'd google'd but they all give info on Ireland golf.

Its in the fixtures list for my new club in the ladies section. Its a nine hole comp. Have to ask the other members when I join on Sunday.
