Went to AG today to finally buy myself a decent pull trolley. I liked the look of the Motorcaddy S1 Lite purely because i like the styling. I asked the shop manager to show me how small it folded down. After 10 minutes of him fiddling around and getting very frustrated and tired, knocking down 3 cart bags on the stand behind him in the process and subsequently sending an electric cart tumbling of the display! he said it must be broken and that in his opinion it wasn`t a good trolley anyway!. I have to admit i found this highly amusing and certainly not a good advert for the motorcaddy trolley!

Anyway i walked out with a Powercaddy Twinline3 and a Mizuno speedstar cart bag

I did look at the Powerkaddy deluxe 1 bag but the guy in AG said that they don`t fit the twinline3 and are only molded for the electric trolleys, is this true?

Would find it hard to believe a Powerkaddy bag has been designed so it doesn’t fit a Powekaddy trolley. Especially coming from a salesman who has just been unable to demonstrate a product the shop is selling, so sold you something else.

American golf do my head in bought a hybrid in they said 2 days 1 week later still not there fair enough they give me a box of srixons. They call me say its in after 2 weeks go down its not there. after 3 WEEKS yes 3 WEEKS it came. BUT no headcover so they give me an old shabby mizzy one still waiting for the proper one to come

I'm not going to knock AG as my views are well known but I think its says more about the competency of the sales guy than AG's sales policy. What made you buy something else? Was it a desire to have something anyway or was it always a close call. I think if I'd my heart set on something in particular I might have gone elsewhere (even if it hadn't been AG) and got another demo.

To be honest Homer it was always a pretty close call between the Twinline3 and the S1 Lite. Whilst i liked the styling of the S1 it did look a little flimsy in construction when next to the twinline3. My budget was more catered to the S1 but out off embarrassment due to the poor demo, he knocked a tenner off the twinline3.
