At the risk of getting eaten alive on here....Does anyone else on here want to "come out" as a secret listener to Radio 4's finest ???

My name is drewster ...and i listen to The Archers and bloody love it !!!

It was the reminiscent side of me that got me listening in the first place. Being dumped at my grandparents in the Summer holidays and they had it on every morning. Thought i'd just catch an Omnibus on I Player one day and have listened ever since. Sad i know but a guilty pleasure !!!

No such thing as a guilty pleasure in my book, you likes what you likes, no need to be guilty about it.

Unless you like The X Factor...

I live there.

At least, I live in the village on which it is based and where the original writer sat in my local 'The Old Bull' and drew tales from the local farming community.

There are photographs of the cast of The Archers on the wall of the pub, an old black and white tudor building, with flagstone floors, roaring fires and a couple of steaming lurchers under the tables in the winter.

I always thought there was a bit of the Bert Fry about you....... ;)
