Loving the fact the clocks have changed.
I have had a mare of a time out the last few evening but soon realise my grip had slipped round so I was drawing everything a little.
As soon as I corrected this I launched a 260+ yard drive down the middle of the 8th and then proceeded to hit a 56* wedge right at the pin.
On going up to mark my ball I noticed the pitch mark was 1 inch past and half an inch to the left of the hole! The ball skipped a few feet on past the hole as the green slopes away and down to the back right.
The greens where behaving very badly last night, they had about 1/4 of the turn that they usually have and were very bobbly due to midweek maintanence work. The putt did slip by in the end but I was very glad to work out what was going wrong!
I did feel a little nervous, if I did not repair that pitch mark well it might have cost someone else a stroke or two as it was very big!
I must admit Bob I can also blame my poor putting the last two times out on not using the V-Easy for a week! I got a bit over confident with my last two trips out on the course when the greens were in good knick.
I will take any punishment you have for me for not doing my homework
