all iron shots pushed to the right?

hi
i played 9 holes after school today and i was hitting all my iron shots way right , although they were flying straight.also , the divots were pointing way left could anyone please help me as to what i am doing wrong

Swinging over the top with an open club face. If you square the face, you will hit pulls all day.

no bob i wasnt shanking them , i was making reasonably good contact

I'd check your alignment first. Sounds like you were simply standing open and then hitting blocks to the right. It's possible the ball is/was too far back in your stance but I'd go with alignment first.

definetly sounds like you were coming over the top, the divot is usually a good indicator. are you maybe swaying too far on the back swing? try keeping more weight on the inside of right foot on backswing,and see if it improves things, if not , as bob says, check alignement and swing path. to prevent coming over the top, feel as if your hands are brushing your right trouser pocket on downswing.

It could be ill fitting clubs with the lie being incorrect!
Get them checked.
If the toe is coming down heavy it will open the club face at impact.
