Alcohol free lager

Haven't tried many but for me Becks Blue is quite acceptable

IMO if you think that Becks Blue is OK then you have some pleasant surprises coming when trying other. Myself - v disappointed both Peroni and Morreti zeros. for me the best of the lager types is Heineken but that is for me equalled or bettered by the IPA sort - such as St Peters Without; InfiniteSession IPA - and for me a new one on the scene Brooklyn Special Effects.

Very rare that I need to drink alcohol free but the Peroni and Becks versions are the best I've tried. These beers have definitely improved in the last decade. The first ones that came to market tasted crap

truly back in the day they were bowfin'

But the methods for producing alcohol free beers have improved and indeed completely changed hugely only quite recently

Both of these are fine, along with freedam. The rest are mucky, esp st peters without, which tastes of syrup.
Truth is that I haven't drunk StPW for some 6months - and some of those I enjoy today were not really available before then. So maybe it won't match up to the newer onres now available that I enjoy - Freedam being one of them...

personally i don't see the point, alcohol is the best bit, it not that beer tastes that good anyway, except the strong Belgian ones anyway;)

I wouldn't bother, just have a soft drink

I tend to drink soft drinks too quickly. Perhaps weirdly I find that I drink zero alc beers at pretty much the same speed as I would drink normal stuff.
