I've hit the pin with my 2nd on a par 5 but didn't even make eagle


Also did anyone watch the Royal trophy? That island green was something else.

I saw bits of it. Loved the idea of getting to the green by boat. Poor performance by Europe though.

I once started my back nine 3,2,3 Birdie Albatross Birdie then realised what was going on (it put me 5 under for the round) and ended up with brown pants and a 1 under round!

Apparently the island green can be moved around so it can make the hole play any length they want. Thought Europe played poorly but it is good to see Asia's men starting to come to the fore like the ladies

Imagine how pi$$ed you would be playing a soaring 7 iron towards the middle of the green only to see some bar steward move it 40 yds mid flight
